The short version
Picary apps do not collect, store, or share any of your personal information. Nothing you do in an app is sent to me or to anyone else.
This policy covers the Android apps I publish on Google Play under the developer name MajorTunaRoll, including D.E.N.N.I.S., and the website picary.io. Picary is run by me, Rodrigo Pool.
Picary apps
I do not collect any information through my apps. That includes your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, and how you use the app.
- Your data stays on your device. Anything you enter in a Picary app is kept only on your phone. It is never uploaded to me or to a server. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
- No accounts. You never need to sign up or sign in.
- No ads, analytics, or tracking. The apps contain no advertising, analytics, or tracking tools, and no third-party services that collect data.
- No purchases. The apps have no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
- Permissions. If an app asks for a permission, such as the camera, it uses it only for that feature, on your device. Nothing it captures leaves your phone.
Because I collect nothing, I have nothing to sell, share, or hand over to anyone.
Google Play
You download Picary apps through Google Play, which Google runs under its own privacy policy. Google may share anonymous, combined statistics with developers, such as install counts and crash reports. These do not identify you, and I use them only to fix problems and improve the apps.
The picary.io website
The website collects only what any web server needs to run, plus anything you choose to send me.
- Server logs. My web host automatically records standard technical details, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. These are used only to keep the site running and secure.
- Cookies. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for site administrators who log in.
- Messages you send. If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, and message. I use them only to reply to you. I never sell or share them, and I will delete them if you ask.
- Links to other sites. Links to Google Play, LinkedIn, and other sites lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Children
Picary apps collect no information from anyone, including children under 13.
